BBCodeThe formatting code this forum uses is called BBCode. There is a toolbar above the box where you enter your post that helps you format things in your post. Select the text you want to change, then click the button. To post a picture, I suggest using a gallery site such as
http://photobucket.com/ After you upload your picture, it will list four codes. Use the image code, which is the fourth code, and just copy and paste into your post. You can also hit the image tag above the post and then paste the URL of the picture. Once you hit "Submit", the picture will show in your post.
Your ProfileIn the top menu is a link called "My Controls". This area enables you to check and send private messages, change your profile, add an avatar or signature, and edit your privacy settings. Most sites allow you to upload an avatar to that site, however, you will have to use something like Photobucket to upload a signature, as described above. You can also put text and links in your signature.
SmileysYou can either click on one of the smileys as you are entering your post, or click "Show All" to show all smileys available and then click the smiley you want in the box that pops up.
Other FeaturesYou can find the store, arcade, and battle system in the very top menu above the forum logo. Every time you post, you get store points. Currently, our store enables you to use the battle system. The arcade is free for all members to use, and the games you are a champion of will show in your posts.
Other HintsHere are some other hints on using this forum.
1) At the bottom center, you should see a link that says "Today's Active Topics". Click on that and it will bring up everything that has been posted in the past 24 hours.
2) Another version of this is in the top menu across from "Welcome {Your Name}". Near "My Controls" it says "View Posts Since Last Visit". This brings up everything that has been posted since your last visit to the forum.
3) If the forum is exceeding the width of your screen, you may want to check your Windows display settings and set the screen size to the maximum your computer allows.
