Has anybody looked at the blood relatives of their dragons? I looked up for a few of them and a few gave me a headache. My dragon Hezal of Ramira comes from a long line that has lots of black dragons.... and unfortunately some incest. >>

xD I know what you mean. I think I accidentally bred some siblings without realizing they were related. >.> Oops.

Thankfully these dragons don't suffer from defects when their breeders don't examine their family trees. Hehe

True... but I don't think you ever mated a mother and son together. It's one thing to do siblings, especially if they were stolen eggs. But a mother and son pairing? *shudders*

Yuck! xD

All inbreeding aside though, I think it's really interesting to look through the bloodlines and see how far they go.

I also love watching my dragon's eggies hatch and grow up and stuff even when I don't raise them myself. =3

I wish there was some way we could be able to have a visual of the dragon family trees (although it'd be quite a complicated tree if you think about i) for our own pleasure and a breeding reference chart.

I actually have been thinking of making family trees of a sort for my dragons, that included as much info as I could. Like type of dragon and other members of the extended family, but lately I've been a little lazy.

I've been thinking about doing family trees for my dragons, but considering the number of kids and the different partners that dragons have getting those kids, it couldn't be the typical format. Not sure what format should be done, but I'll figure something out and show you guys what I come up with.

hahaha yeah it would be nuts with how big they would be and the formatting would be interesting... I was thinking something more like a pedigree but i'm not sure how useful that would end up being.

Ditto, if I quit being lazy and come up with something I'll let you guys know too

I am very interested in dragon lineage so all of mine have family trees. For the sake of my own sanity I limit myself to only the dragon and their parents/grandparents, etc. and don't include siblings and aunts and all the rest.

I have a couple of dragons with inbred histories before they came to me. It always makes me cringe a little and give a dissapointed little huff. I understand that inbreeding between dragons doesn't actually mean anything, but still. I take great care not inbreed any of my own.

Most of my dragons come from different bloodlines, although there are some where the dragons might be related in some way or another. One such instance would be my red dragon female and my red dragon male. The male is the offspring of the female and they've produced an egg or two already. I should really look more in depth with the rest of my dragons to see how messed up their bloodlines are.
