Gaining a Dragon's Egg
Eggs refresh at the top of every hour. You can also view abandoned eggs. Hit F5 to refresh the page while using your mouse to click on eggs works best to get them fast enough.

Getting the Egg to Crack
The best way to get your egg to crack is to post it in forum signatures and just go post crazy. The process of getting an egg to crack is based on a flexible ratio of views, unique views, and clicks. You want eggs to have way more views than clicks, but you still need a good amount of clicks for the dragon to mature. Views are just as important as clicks.

I've found it works better not to use an incubator, but you cannot do that on the DC forums (mainly because people would have enormous siggys there). We have individual galleries where you can show off all of your dragons. You can raise one dragon at a time, or many at a time, but there is a limit to the number of eggs you can have at once. This process works until the dragon is an adult.

Breeding
You can only attempt to breed you dragons once every 7 days. You start the process from the adult female dragons, and they (obviously) must be mated with an adult male dragon.
