Hiya cyanide! I would suggest putting your eggs directly into your sig instead of using the incubator. Then people can click and view them individually. It really does help increase the clicks and views. I made the signature text huge so you should be able to put in all of them.

You have to have an extreme amount of views to do that, and so far I haven't had a problem and my views have been really high.
I'm hoping MM will post exact computations, because I'm a math idiot...

What you want are lots of views, with a fair number of unique views. You want clicks, but you don't want the clicks to come close to equaling the number of views; THAT can make them sick.
They can also get sick if their unique views are close to the total views. It's usually only a danger near the beginning, when the numbers can climb quickly. However, it's easy to fix: either hide the egg or hatchling briefly ("fogging" it, so you can see it on your own scroll, but it shows up as a little cloud of fog elsewhere) or putting up an image only.
I've only had soft shells once, when I posted in a thread congratulating someone for their new baby right after adding new eggs to my sig. I fogged them for a few hours, and they were fine.
